To use SettlePe, you must:

- Provide a valid Indian mobile number and email address
- Use the platform only for lawful and authorized purposes
SettlePe reserves the right to restrict or terminate access if misuse, fraud, or unauthorized activity is suspected.
2. Scope of Services
SettlePe is a utility bill payment facilitation platform designed for registered retailers. The platform enables the collection of customer payments for essential utility services, including but not limited to:
- Electricity bills
- Water bills
- Gas bills
- DTH / cable services
- Broadband / landline services
SettlePe does not provide credit card bill payments, lending, EMI services, wallet facilities, or financial advisory services.
3. Payments and Transactions
- By initiating a payment, you authorize SettlePe and its payment partners to process the transaction.
- Users are responsible for providing accurate bill and payment details.
- SettlePe is not responsible for transaction failures or delays caused by incorrect information, technical issues, or third-party service provider systems.
4. Cancellations and Refunds
- Utility bill payments are processed immediately after confirmation and cannot be cancelled once initiated.
- Refunds for failed or duplicate transactions are handled in accordance with our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
- Users are advised to verify all details carefully before proceeding with a payment.
5. Privacy and Data Protection
- Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
- Data is shared only with authorized service providers when required to process transactions or comply with legal obligations.
- SettlePe does not store sensitive payment details such as card numbers or banking credentials.
6. Prohibited Use
Users agree not to:
- Use the platform for fraudulent, illegal, or unauthorized activities
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to SettlePe systems
- Interfere with the operation or security of the platform
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
Violation of these terms may result in suspension or termination of access without prior notice.
7. Communications
By using SettlePe, you agree to receive essential transactional communications related to your use of the platform. You may opt out of non-essential communications where applicable.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, SettlePe shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Losses resulting from transaction delays or failures beyond our control
- Issues arising from third-party service providers or payment systems
9. Changes to Terms
SettlePe reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be effective upon publication on this page. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts located in Telangana, India.
