Refund Policy
Successful Transactions
Once a utility bill payment is successfully completed through SettlePe, the transaction cannot be cancelled or refunded. This is because payments are processed immediately with the respective utility service provider.
Failed Transactions
If a transaction fails but the payment amount has been debited from the customer’s account:
- The amount will be automatically refunded to the original payment method.
- Refunds are generally processed within 5 to 7 business days, depending on the bank or payment provider.
- If the refund is not received within this period, users may contact our support team with the transaction reference details.
Duplicate Payments
In case of an accidental duplicate payment for the same utility bill:
- Users may report the issue by contacting our support team within 48 hours of the transaction.
- After verification, eligible refunds will be processed to the original payment method.
- Refund processing may take up to 7 to 10 business days, subject to confirmation from the service provider.
Cancellation Policy
Utility bill payments initiated through SettlePe are processed immediately after confirmation. As a result:
- Cancellations are not supported once a payment is initiated or completed.
- Users are advised to verify all bill details before proceeding with a payment.
